The apple pie had us speechless. How do you make a crust so buttery without butter?! The crust was in high demand, while others in the noms family just keep scooping out the leftover filling that fell into the pie tin as we served it up (and Kati does not skimp on the filling one bit - this thing weighed a ton!).
And the cake is rich and moist - simply delectable. The cinnamon-y addictiveness that is Snickerdoodle is one of those flavors you forget how much you love until you’re in the middle of eating it. And eating the icing brought another of those “is this really vegan?!” moments.
