Hogfish Harry’s

No words will do this dish justice…

This is definitely 😉NOT😉 us saying our favorite fish dish in Naples is @hogfishharrys’ namesake, the Hogfish entree. With a very generous portion (see 2nd picture) of hogfish stacked on top of coconut bamboo rice and honey roasted carrots, with a pineapple-ginger reduction, this is one of those dishes where you scoop up a little bit of everything to make a “perfect bite.” No words will do this dish justice, you just have to try it for yourself. The attention to detail by Chef Everett and his team is second to none.

Putting up a fight with best pasta dishes in town is the Key West Pink Shrimp and Maine Lobster “Mac and Cheese.” Another extremely generous portion of seafood, mixed into this creamy, gooey Gruyere bacony goodness that we simply can’t stop eating until it’s all gone.

This is the kind of restaurant you take all your friends and family to so you can try a little bit of everything off the menu, especially some starters and salads: the flash fried calamari is piled on top of an awesomely sweet Florida orange chili sauce, fried green tomatoes sliced thick served with bell pepper jam, poblano crème fraîche and crumbled goat cheese to cut through the richness, and a fresh shaved brussel sprouts salad with roasted butternut squash all tossed in a lemon maple dressing.

And for dessert, we struggled to really find a way to show how massive this piece of carrot cake actually is. While they say it’s shareable, they failed to mention it’s actually also shareable with the table next to you. 🤣 We’re not complaining though, it tastes just as good the next day. If you’re looking for an individual portion though, the warm spiced rum upside down pineapple cake with the toasted coconut ice cream is a real delight as well.
