Deliciously Round

Deliciously authentic Venezuelan fare

We are lucky to live in Naples. Obvious reasons aside, we're lucky because we have some of the best food trucks roaming our streets and whipping up incredible dishes from their moving kitchens. In the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of our favorite food trucks in town!

🇻🇪 Exhibit A: @deliciouslyround 🇻🇪 We caught them serving up their Venezuelan fare at @riptidebrewingco (where they have a food truck parked out back almost daily!). This stunning first picture is of our favorite Venezuelan treat, the Cachapa, a semi-sweet corn pancake stuffed with a Venezuelan cheese called queso de mano, your pick of protein (we were feeling some shredded beef), and topped with a generous drizzle of nata criolla and queso llanero rallado. Don’t forget to ask for their amazing garlic sauce!

We also chowed down a “Catira” arepa. Catira is slang for blonde girl 👧🏼 in Venezuela and in this case refers to the cheese that stuffs this deliciously seasoned shredded chicken and cheese arepa. You’ll see why when you see the 2nd photo.

PS They also recently opened @deliciouslyroundmarket on Bayshore Drive so be sure to not just seek out the truck, but to drop by the market for some Venezuelan goodies to take home!
